About Yoga
The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root yuj, 
which means "to join" or "to yoke".

Yoga is a practical aid, not a religion. Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with the  environment
The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. 


Regular Yoga practise can offer your body and mind a wonderful release 
and you may notice:
 • Improved breathing awareness.
• More in touch and in tune with your body and its innate wisdom.
• General sense of wellbeing on the mat and in life.
• A wider range of dexterity of movement: flexibility, mobility and stability.
• Slowing down and soothing the nervous system.

• More awareness of your postural habits and how you conduct your energy through your own body.
• More feeling awareness: noticing the difference between thinking and feeling.
• An openness to receive more nourishment: not just from food.
• Ability to view nutrition, relationship with yourself and others in a more holistic, balanced way.
• A deepening of your connection with your body with less expectation and more forgiveness.
• Weight loss, strengthening, toning and definition.
